Some Ghana migrants suffer terrible treatment in the countries they thought would offer them better lives. The International Organization for Migration (IOM), part of the United Nations, works with partners in Ghana to promote safe migration, advance the understanding of migration issues, and encourage social and economic development through migration. Their latest report outlines their important work in Ghana.
EXA Ventures does its small part to help with the resettlement of young female migrants, through empowering the women economically. In May 2022, the company trained a group of young women to manufacture a variety of hair care products, giving them the expertise and confidence to start earning their own living, have independence and better lives right here in Ghana.
